With over 10 years of experience in handbag, belt, and small-leather goods design and development, Tara can design a collection from first sketch through to final production. Her industry experience includes hardware knowledge, leather, design, pricing, negotiating with factories and suppliers, sourcing, consulting, and production. .

Tara has worked as a freelance designer for major corporations and start-up companies in the USA and Canada. She has built a strong network of suppliers including tanneries, manmade materials, hardware, and factories specializing in handbags and accessory production. .

She works closely with other designers in footwear and graphic design for special projects. Tara travels regularly to the Far East and Italy to meet with suppliers and factories and to attend various trade shows to keep up on the latest trends in the accessories industry. .
