About Tara
After 20 years of designing handbags, belts, and fashion accessories for corporate brands in the USA, Tara decided to launch her own private label design business, hence the name Sauvage Private Label LLC. Tara handles everything from the first sketch through the final production of leather goods and fashion accessories. Sauvage Private Label also offers startup business consulting for fashion brands just starting out. Tara works with a team of factories and vendors to help design the perfect collection for your brand.
Tara has a B.A. in International Business from Washington State University and spent two years living and working in South East Asia after graduation. Tara started in the fashion industry as a footwear designer for a Chinese company in East Los Angeles and moved on from there to design leather bags and belts for other high-profile fashion brands in Los Angeles and New York. In 2007, Tara went to Italy and took an intensive Italian handbag design course at the internationally known ARS Arpel Sutoria School in Milan, Italy, to sharpen her technical skills in luxury goods. Tara has an MBA from the University of San Diego.
Tara has traveled extensively in Asia and Italy while working in the fashion industry.
